said, “Everything you can imagine is real.” Several years ago, we, the ladies of East-Centric, imagined a place where arts, music, and culture collide in East Nashville. As suggested, we imagined such a scene and called it “East-Centric.” In late 2012, fate would guise itself in a faint knock. How ever faint, it would be heard and answered. And so we became East-Centric Pavilion.
Located in the heart of East Nashville, East-Centric Pavilion was a new 2,800 sq ft. open-air arts & cultural center, events & music venue dedicated to bringing original events, public market days, festivals & concerts to the community to create a gathering place for all to experience all the arts, music, and culture the great city of Nashville has to offer as well as celebrate the emerging arts & cultural scene in East Nashville.
We still will take our concept and live it daily under our new name, East-Centric. We’ve been seen on Bravo's hit television series, Tabatha Takes Over, featured as one of Forbes Travel Guide's “must-do” in Nashville, coined the “innovative thinking helping to shape the area” bt Nashville ledger, highlighted in Nashville Arts Magazine, and created, marketed and managed a hot-spot that won the Nashville Chamber’s beautification award and what the Nashville Scene called ”one of the cities coolest and most intimate venues.” Our venue and business served as a hot spot for some of Nashville's most fabulous local events like Lightning 100's Music City Mayhem, Native Magazine's Cinco De Bik-O, Tomato Arts Fest's King & Queen Pageant, Martinis & Jazz, the Voodoo Swing Circus, YUM! East & more!
In addition to bringing some of the city's coolest, wackiest annual events to East Nashville, we at East-Centric also produce our own fun-time happenings and we are very proud of the success we've had this year with Olive or Twist: A Celebration of the Hand-crafted Libation, the East Nashville Honeybee Festival, The Eastside Brew Ha Ha (Craft Brew Festival), our weekly Live Jazz Brunch Market and Southern Drawl Bluegrass & Americana Festival. We're also excited to announce a number new happenings on the horizon like: Beethoven & Brews & The East Nashville Indie Film Festival!
East-Centric served as a social enterprise supported solely by the community (sponsors, partners, etc.) and is dedicated to giving back to the community thru arts initiatives & programming as well as providing fundraising and monetary donations to other local organizations & non-profits who support the community. In 2013, East-Centric donated 35% of its gross revenue to local non-profits, schools and government groups. For interest in supporting our mission, please contact us!
